Faculty Rheumatologist needed at UT Tyler School of Medicine & UT Health East Texas.We are seeking an experienced BC/BE Rheumatology physician to join ourestablished outpatient practice in Tyler, Texas.

The University of Texas at Tyler School ofMedicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in TheUniversity of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcareprofessionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural andhard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in EastTexas. 

The school offers a robust Graduate MedicalEducation program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enablinggraduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internalmedicine,?neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia. Additionally, UTTyler?s Master of Biotechnology program provides students with aninterdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes medical research and biotechnologyinnovation, preparing them for careers in medical research, diagnostics andtherapeutic development. 

Construction is currently underway on afive-story, 248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler?sMidtown District. Connected by a skybridge to UT Health Tyler, the MEB willsupport interdisciplinary education for medical students and resident training.It will also aid as part of a medical education program expansion throughoutthe UT Health East Texas Health System. The building is scheduled forcompletion in the fall of 2025.
