We are seeking a BC/BE Neurhospitalist to join our mission of serve the largest health system in Idaho and making a significant impact on inpatient neurological care.
What to Expect:
- Broad interest in inpatient neurology, including:
- Stroke management (acute ischemic stroke is our most common diagnosis), seizures, meningitis and encephalitis, intracranial hemorrhage, neuromuscular crises, teleneurology, and neurocritical care
- Expertise in patient selection for IV thrombolysis and emergent thrombectomy is essential
- Collaborative Environment: This role works closely with specialists in: Neurointerventional, Epileptology, Neuroradiology, Emergency Medicine, and Inpatient Medicine
- Our team emphasizes a comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care for adult patients
- Our service line is rapidly expanding across Southwestern Idaho to meet growing patient needs. Current fellowship-trained subspecialties include:
- Movement Disorders
- Headache Medicine
- Vascular Neurology
- Epilepsy
- Sleep Medicine
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho
