Job Duties

The Department of General Surgery at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania

Comprehensive Breast Health Program:

• Onsite radiologists, pathologists, breast and plastic surgeons, psychologists, geneticists, nurse navigators, and a high-risk clinic
• ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
• Blocked OR and clinic time

• Advanced Imaging Technology:
  • 3D HD screening and diagnostic mammography
  • Multimodality breast interventions including upright tomographic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies
  • Fully integrated electronic health record (Epic)

• Academic & Research Opportunities:
  • Opportunity to teach our residents and medical school students

Join a full scope Breast Surgery practice with a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The practice has a special emphasis on an inherited risk and high risk programs as well as research & teaching components.
