The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is looking for dedicated, compassionate Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physicians to join their dynamic healthcare team. The openings are for Primary Care Staff Physicians and Float Providers and there are multiple locations available.

Positions are located in:
Lee County HCC (Cape Coral): Floater 2
Port Charlotte, FL Outpatient Clinic: 1
Sarasota, FL Outpatient Clinic: Floater 1
Bradenton, FL Outpatient Clinic: 1
Staff Primary Care Physician:
Responsible for the management of patients to include examination
Medical care management
Coordination of consultation
Referral of patients
Development and operation of quality assurance and utilization programs including peer reviews
Coordinates health care needs according to guidelines established by the Department of VA and sound medical practice
Physician will be responsible for managing an assigned panel of patients, traveling Veterans and unassigned Veterans who present to the Bay Pines VA HCS
Work Schedule: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday with no call.
Salary Range: $185,000 up to $243,000 per year
A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive with a service agreement may be authorized for a Highly Qualified Candidate.
The selected candidate may be eligible to apply for student loan repayment through the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Participation is based on funds availability.
