UNC Health Primary Care (formerly Carolina Advanced Health) in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our team. The team consists of an Internist, one FNP, an Endocrinologist two days/week, a Psychiatrist providing virtual visits a half day/week, a Pharm.D., Registered Dietitians, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing care for our adult patient base with complex medical needs.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with interest in leadership. The Practice Medical Director manages clinical activities, quality metrics, QI projects, attends monthly practice leadership meetings and UNCPN medical director meetings where you get health system updates and the opportunity to give input into operations. UNCPN allows you to grow into your interest. For example, our medical directors have led Coumadin Clinics across the network, chaired patient experience committees, etc...

POSITION SPECIFICS

*Medical Director potential for interested candidates, comes with additional compensation and .1 administrative time for medical director duties

*Outpatient only, full-time

*Step into an established patient base with room to grow your own panel

*New clinic, 12 exam rooms

*Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with flexibility to disperse a half day of administrative time

*Ability to precept medical & APP students

REQUIREMENTS

*Leadership potential preferred. Interest in managing a clinic, QI, and evidence-based medicine

*MD/DO, BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

*Licensed in NC or eligible
