Overview

Nationwide Search - Selected candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.

Note: Employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID -19 as a condition for employment.

We are currently seeking physician candidate located in the United States, Dubai and Singapore who are available to travel internationally.

The candidate must be able to meet a minimum of the following availability requirement:

Part time (0.5 FTE) - 2 consecutive calendar weeks per month

Surveys international health care organizations as assigned. Applies systems analysis skills and inductive reasoning skills to determine a health care organization's degree of compliance with applicable standards and functionality of care delivery systems. Engages health care organization staff in interactive dialogues on standards-based issues in health care in order to assess compliance and to identify opportunities for improving compliance. Prepares exit reports that clearly link individual measurable deficiencies with potential systems vulnerabilities and related organization risk points. Effectively communicates this information to health care organization leadership in a constructive and collegial style. Participates in other Joint Commission International activities as assigned.

Qualifications

General Knowledge and Experience:

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Bachelor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent

Candidates chosen for this position will be expected to participate in all components of the training program. Candidates must be able to access the internet to complete any on-line training requirements. Candidates must be able to fully participate in on-site training when it is scheduled. New surveyors are expected to complete a minimum of three precepted surveys within three months of successful completion of the training.
