Pediatrician Opportunity, Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) Sandusky

Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) brings pediatric primary care for babies, children and teens to many northeast Ohio communities through our 35 pediatric offices. We are expanding our primary care network to meet the demand of regional growth. This new location in Sandusky, Ohio will open in fall of 2021. The practice is seeking an experienced Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to provide excellent outpatient care to our patients. 

Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies, while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians enjoy the use of EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are all PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMHs build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams. Research shows that they improve quality, the patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care costs.

Ranked a Best Children's Hospital by US News and World Report, Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio, providing more than 1 million patient encounters each year. Considine Clinical Research Institute.  Active involvement in medical student and resident education academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available and commensurate with experience.
