Responsibilities
Nocturnist is responsible for admissions and transfers. Night admissions supported by residents (teaching admissions) and APP (non-teaching admissions).
The schedule for the Nocturnist is flexible based on individual preference.
Swing shifts overlap until 11pm to alleviate incoming afternoon/evening ED admissions

Qualifications
Drug Enforcement Agency (aDEAa) License, New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances (aCDSa) Registration, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Board-Certified in Internal Medicine (or Board eligible in Internal Medicine and must achieve Board certification within two (2) years after the completion of his/her medical residency training)
